Daniel Freedman Quintet feat. Nir Felder & Jason Lindner

A la tête de son quintet, il continue son périple des rythmes avec un album multicolore, son premier en tant que leader. Au programme, un tour du monde allant de New York à Cotonou en passant par Rio et Tel Aviv... L'une des découvertes de l'année 2016 avec " Imagine That ", un projet plus que réjouissant ! On embarque volontiers à bord.

Born and raised in New York City, drummer, percussionist and composer Daniel Freedman came up in the Smalls scene of the 1990's. A member of Jason Lindner's acclaimed bigband as well as Omer Avital's sextet, he has played and recorded with many artists such as Sting, Youssou N'Dour, Dianne Reeves, Tom Harrell, Wynton Marsalis and Angelique Kidjo. He is back on our stage with his new album as a leader entitled " Imagine That ", a very exciting and feel-good project !
