Édith & Moi

Born and raised in France, Mélyssa is a "natural". At 30 years old she left her life in France to go to New York City to become a jazz singer.
No musical background, no contacts but a dream that she had since she was a little girl: singing jazz in the Big Apple.

She performed for bars, French restaurants & Jazz Club and there came the idea to write this tribute to Edith Piaf that celebrates her search of love from Paris to New York, through songs and storytellings Mélyssa connects Edith's life to her own journey telling stories that everyone can relate to. It gets the audience thinking about what's important in life and how we should follow our dreams.
