Gary Brunton : Night Bus featuring Bojan Z & Simon Goubert

Après un premier album intitulé Night Bus, qui donnera son nom au trio, le contrebassiste britannique Gary Brunton (qui a fait ses armes auprès d'Henri Texier) accompagné de musiciens que l'on ne présente plus : le pianiste serbe Bojan Z et le batteur français Simon Goubert nous présentent Second Trip, un nouvel opus aux sonorités jazz, rock et pop.
L'album est récompensé par le magazine britannique Jazz Wise, Choc Jazz Magazine, soutenu par TSF JAZZ et Télérama qui le qualifie d'"hédoniste et finement ouvragé", élu album jazz de la semaine par Fip lors de sa sortie... Comme le souligne très justement France Musique : "Une soirée sous le signe de la créativité et de la spontanéité !"

After a first album entitled Night Bus, which will give its name to the trio, the British double bassist Gary Brunton (who cut his teeth with Henri Texier) accompanied by musicians who are no longer presented: the Serbian pianist Bojan Z and the French drummer Simon Goubert present Second Trip, a new opus with jazz, rock and pop sounds.
The album is rewarded by the British magazine Jazz Wise, Choc Jazz Magazine, supported by TSF JAZZ and Télérama which qualifies it as "hedonist and finely crafted", elected jazz album of the week by Fip when it was released. As France Musique rightly points out: "An evening under the sign of creativity and spontaneity!"
