Toxic Waste - English Stand-Up Comedy by Anna Ampatziani

Anna turns her personal stories into unexpected jokes and she takes you on a ride through the unfortunate chaos she calls "her dating life".
According to those who saw her live, the hour passes very fast, and the stories only hit you after the show. To spice things up Anna included a quick crowd work section, where she looks for the night's "TOX-BOSS".
What's that? Well most toxic person in the room! Do you have to participate? No, but most people can't resist and the TOX-BOSS always reveals themselves.
The show was directed by her teacher and mentor, Bruno Banon. They tirelessly worked on this piece for over a year before presenting it to the public, and they both take great pride in the final result. Bruno, a former lecturer at "The Julliard School", has won multiple awards for the plays he directed.

Born and raised in Greece, Anna always had a special relationship with the live spectacle. She took theater classes as a teenager and later, in her adult life, went to an acting school. When she moved to Paris, she started her own comedy club, and fostered a vibrant community. Traveling all over Europe, Anna had the opportunity to perform in front of diverse audiences. She has experienced the booming English scenes of Europe, such as Berlin, Amsterdam and Edinburgh, but also the rising ones like Athens and Geneva. Anna recently appeared on national TV.
Anna has opened for award-winning comedians and regulars on the big clubs, such as Comedy Central, like Brian Babylon, Joel Briant and Michael Shafar. She has hosted on her sold out shows comedy greats like Sebastian Marx, Victor Patrascan, Tatty MacLeod, Luisa Omielan, Ray Ellin and Reem Edan. Used to performing next to comics with appearances on Netflix, BBC, Comedy Cellar and more, Anna was taught by the best and quickly elevated her comedy act.
